You can name all those luxury car creators but none of them can get close to the 2020 Lincoln Aviator. This is one of the classiest SUVs ever produced on the market and we’re hoping to see him in his full shine. The previous version of Aviator was amazing so we’re really hoping to see him getting so many new features to be proud of. Let’s take a closer look at everything that makes this car so special.
2020 Lincoln Aviator Redesign, Specs, Review
The first impression tells that new 2020 Lincoln Aviator isn’t going to be that much different when we compare him with his predecessor. His shape is brand new but we know that they’re going to do some things to make him still recognizable. Not only that, we are convinced that new Aviator is going to be shiny and that it’s going to be better in every direction. The edges are sharper and you can really see that when you take a look at him on the front fascia. His edges there are really sharp. Just one look at the grille and you’ll see that. Next to it, the headlights are sharper and made in that famous L-letter shape. With it, new Aviator becomes a bit restyled. Of course, you should know that new Aviator is equipped with a brand new, stronger front bumper.
Even the bumper on the rear of new 2020 Lincoln Aviator is redesigned. It is also stronger than before. Now, Lincoln has made it using hard steel. Not only they’ve made it stronger, but they have also made it look a bit renewed. Now, the exhaustion pipes are placed on both edges of those bumpers. They’re slightly more rounded than before. Lincoln has now used all the experience to make him super modernized. On the sides, there are some new things as well. New Aviator has some new lines there. Those lines are doing the most amazing job to make his appearance better. It looks sportier that’s for sure.
2020 Lincoln Aviator Interior Look, Materials, Instrument board
As we’ve said, new 2020 Lincoln Aviator is made to be modernized and we must say that’s really something we have expected from him. This time, modernized means fewer for Lincoln. The instrument board is made with fewer buttons on it. When we take a look at the instrument board on the Aviator, all we can see is the touchscreen. It is made to be 11.0-inches wide. That’s the largest touchscreen ever produced for Lincoln’s vehicle. Also, since there are not that many buttons on the instrument board, we must tell you that there will be some of them on the steering wheel. With it, you can really control most of the functions with still taking a great view on the road ahead.
What is important to say, even though you might already know that, is that new 2020 Lincoln Aviator is made with the finest materials. You should know that there won’t be any plastic part present inside new Aviator. Today, Lincoln has revealed that the biggest part of the cabin of new Aviator is made using top-quality Alcantara leather. That’s one of the first ways that Lincoln has done that for the basic trim level of any of their vehicle. Of course, as any true modern car needs to have the finest infotainment system so new Aviator will have it as well. Not only that, they’re going to be available with the option of voice commands for almost all of the functions. That’s truly amazing and not something we can see every day.
2020 Lincoln Aviator Engine, Power, Performances
The engine unit is the part where Lincoln’s engineers and designers have paid the most attention to. Now, it is said that he’s going to be powered by the 4.0-liter V8 turbocharged petrol-powered engine. This engine unit is special in so many ways. Not only that he can produce the 450 horsepower and 475 lb/ft as the torque amount as the basic trim level, but he has something more to offer. This engine is special because he can be paired with a perfect electric engine unit. That’s brilliant to know and we’re really looking forward to seeing that happen. That’s a thing that’s going to make him special and different from others.
Even though Lincoln still isn’t willing to talk about that, we have found out some of the rumors related to that engine. Having a hybrid engine under the hood, new Aviator really becomes a true leader of his own category. He’s going to have four lithium-ion batteries out there. They can be really fast-charged if you plug them into official power outlets. If you plug into your regular house outlet, those batteries can be fully charged in around 6 hours. That’s not fast but it isn’t slow at the same time.
